Lady Gaga is being praised for her ‘kind’ gesture to Liza Minnelli at the 2022 Oscars.

At the conclusion of the ceremony on Sunday night (March 27), Gaga and Minnelli appeared on stage together to present the Best Picture award, which was won by Sian Heder KODA.

Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, began her speech with praise cabaret Actor.

“The public, they love you,” she said while looking at Minnelli.

“I’m finally honored to present the final award of the night to the true show business legend,” Gaga continued. “It’s celebrating the 50th anniversary of cabaret. Oscar winner Liza Minnelli.”

During their presentation, Gaga and Minnelli were seen laughing, appreciating each other and holding hands.

At one moment, as the 76-year-old actor tried to read her lines displayed on the teleprompter, Gaga leaned over and said comfortingly, “I got you.”

Minnelli immediately responded by saying, “I know.”
