Yoan, who also plays at centre-back, filmed the incident and he said he was ‘deeply sincere’ apologizing.

And after tens of thousands of complaints, Zouma’s cats were taken away by the RSPCA and they are investigating the video.

Until the RSPCA investigation is complete, Dagenham & Redbridge has confirmed that Yoan will not be playing a competitive game for the club.

An official statement read: “The club would like more updates on its player, Yoan Zouma.

“Yoan has been contacted by the RSPCA this week to assist with their investigation and is fully cooperating with them.

“However, Dagenham & Redbridge FC would like to reiterate once again that they condemn any form of cruelty to animals and fully understand the reaction of many supporters.

“Therefore, the Club has decided that until the RSPCA has completed its investigation, Yoan will not play for Dagenham & Redbridge in any competitive match.

“Any action deemed necessary will be taken at the conclusion of the RSPCA investigation.”

Mr Kurt has been fined £250,000 by West Ham for his role in the rioting video.
