KURT Zouma has been DROPPED by his sponsor Adidas after The Sun revealed how he kicked and slapped his cat in a shocking video.
An Adidas spokesperson said: “We have concluded our investigation and can confirm Kurt Zouma is no longer a signed athlete with adidas.”
Zouma was filmed kick one of his cats like a soccer ball and slaps it from a child’s hand in disturbing footage.
Essex Police last night said they were making an “urgent request” over the video – but The Sun understands the force will now stop investigating.
More than 120,000 people have signed a petition calling for Zouma to be prosecuted for the footage and ban on keeping animals.
Meanwhile, Vitality has suspend their sponsorship of West Ham.
A statement from the insurance and investment company, revealed by BBC correspondent Simon Stone: “We are deeply saddened by the video we have seen of Kurt Zouma.
“At Vitality, we condemn cruelty and violence against animals of any kind.
“We are deeply disappointed by the club’s subsequent ruling on this incident.
“Therefore, we are temporarily suspending our funding for West Ham United with immediate effect.
“We will now continue to interact with the club to understand what actions they will take to resolve the situation.”
Another Hammers partner, Kissimmee, is also “evaluating” their relationship with the club.
