Kristen Bell has made a name for herself with her acting and musical talent. She has appeared on Broadway, television shows and films and has won multiple awards for her efforts. However, it’s her parenting skills with her husband, Dax Shepard, that might earn her the greatest recognition.
For someone who seems to have it so good on stage or screen, life isn’t always sunshine and roses. In fact, Bell recalls the time she would wake up with her kids “blood-clotting screams.”
Kristen Bell’s happy family life
In 2007, Bell began dating Shepard. Three years later, in 2010, the two announced their engagement. The two acted in films such as when you are in rome (2010) and hit and run (2012) before finally tying the knot on October 16, 2013. The wedding took place at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s office.
The truth is, this happy couple chose to wait until California legalized same-sex marriage before marrying. Otherwise they probably would have been married much sooner.
However, things still have a way to work out for the best. Shephard and Bell have two daughters. Lincoln was born on March 28, 2013, and Delta joined the family on December 19, 2014, according to PopSugar.
Since starting a family with Shephard, Bell has teamed up with him in one more film, bringing their total to three. It came with the release of 2017 Crisps. This couple also have a line of Better for Baby baby products, Hello Bello.

That Bad mothers The actor doesn’t seem to need alcohol to help him figure out how to deal with the stresses of parenthood. She just needs some coffee, a fact she’s brutally honest about in 2017, according to Us Magazine.
Discussing the chaos that accompanies parenthood, Bell says part of her daily routine includes her new and effective alarm clock. It’s their children’s “blood-clotting screams” that make them “run down the hall thinking someone fell out of their crib or broke their arm or, I don’t know, drowned in the sink, and then her.” are like ‘Good morning mom!’”
With such an odd wake-up call, it’s no surprise that Bell says she tries “not to interact too much with my kids before I drink my matcha because I have to be caffeinated to be nice to someone.”
Considering that Bell is the one who discovered sign language was a tremendous benefit to her family and closing a door to avoid bedtime problems, it seems like she’s turning parenting into a science. She even figured out the perfect Mother’s Day gift for herself!
Living life with their own special Mother’s Day ideas
Bell has a unique take on many different things. For example, according to Yahoo, she recently opened up about her plans for Mother’s Day on the red carpet. Her big plan: celebrate Mother’s Day “Dad Style”.
She credits Shephard, saying, “My husband says there’s such a double standard where dads are supposed to play golf all day and go to dinner and moms are supposed to be waited on by the 3-year-old all day and be watercolored with them .” to which she says, “Leave me alone, I’m out.”
It’s even more fun when Bell expresses that “parenting is a lot like sport—you win or lose every minute of the day,” and then repeats, “Most of the time you lose, but that’s what makes winning so sweet and fleeting.”
Currently you can see Bell in the Netflix miniseries. The woman in the house across from the girl in the window. She also has two upcoming films: The people we hate at the wedding is in post production Molly and the moon is in pre-production.
