Knives Out Glass Onion star Kate Hudson opens up about Matthew McConaughey’s ‘gross’ kissing scene

Kate Hudson has explained why she found Matthew McConaughey’s kissing scene “not that fun to shoot”.
The actor appeared alongside the Oscar winner in How to lose a man in 10 days (2003) and Fool’s Gold (2008) and previously described a romantic scene they shared in the latter as “gross.”
“Every time I’ve kissed McConaughey, it’s like something just happens and there’s snot or wind,” said Hudson, 43.
Speaking up about the scene during an upcoming performance The Jonathan Ross ShowHudson explained that the reason it “definitely wasn’t that fun to shoot” was because it happened in the ocean.
“Ocean, swimming and kissing aren’t always pleasant,” she said, adding, “Things happen in the ocean, like dude … we’re like treading water trying to stay afloat.”
Hudson continued, “Matthew and I had very romantic kisses and then we had very unromantic kisses.”
She also said she and McConaughey, 53, have “the same feeling” about a possible follow-up How to lose a man in 10 days.
“I love working with Matthew,” Hudson said. “If, for some reason, a great idea came across our desk and it made a good read, yes, I would totally reconsider it. It could do some interesting things.”
She then suggested an idea that she thinks might work for the potential sequel.
