‘Knights of Gotham’ Pilot Ordered By The CW From ‘Batwoman’ Writer

A pilot for the proposal Knight of Gotham series from the writers of Batwoman was ordered by CW.

Late last year it was disclosure that the writers of Batwoman are developing a new show set in Gotham for the CW. The program in question is titled Knight of Gotham but does not appear to be a subsection of the previous program. It also has nothing to do with the upcoming video game of the same name but with a similar premise.

The upcoming CW Knight of Gotham the series will follow one of Bruce Wayne’s adopted children (which will be unknown) who forms an alliance with various children of Batman’s enemies after they are accused of murder. . After a period of development, the CW placed a pilot order for the potential series. Warner Bros TV and Berlanti Productions are producing the series.

Batwoman writers Natalie Abrams, James Stoteraux and Chad Fiveash have been developing the series for the CW with the latter two serving as executive producers. Long time Arrowverse Producer Greg Berlanti is also an executive producer. The pilot is directed by Danny Cannon, who will also act as a producer.
