Kid Rock drinks Bud Light after shooting cans in response to Dylan Mulvaney

Kid Rock appears to have made his peace with Bud Light just months after destroying several cases of beer with an assault rifle in response to Dylan Mulvaney’s social media posts.

The rocker-rapper “Bawitdaba” was spotted by gossip news site TMZ sipping on a can of the ailing Anheuser-Busch brand at a Colt Ford concert in Nashville on Thursday.

Kid Rock went viral on social media in early April when he filmed himself destroying what appeared to be four 12-packs of Bud Lights with an AR-15 shotgun.

“F-k Bud Light and f-k Anheuser-Busch,” the “Devil Without a Cause” singer said in the April 3 video.

Just two days earlier, Mulvaney, the transgender influencer, posted pictures on her social media promoting Bud Light – sparking outrage from conservatives.

Calls to boycott Bud Light mounted, resulting in a steady decline in sales for the brand that had long dominated the domestic beer market.

Despite the backlash against Bud Light, Kid Rock’s Nashville restaurant, the Honky Tonk Rock & Roll Steakhouse, continued to serve the beer, despite country music stars like John Rich and Travis Tritt vowing to do away with it.

While Bud Light sales have been falling in recent months, there are obvious signs that American beer drinkers are re-engaging with the brand.

According to a Deutsche Bank survey, the proportion of Bud Light drinkers who say they’re unlikely to buy the brand in the next three to six months fell from 18% to just 3% in July.

Bud light sales fell 26.5% in the week ended August 5, according to Nielsen data.

Volumes also fell 29.7% over the period — a faster week-on-week decline than the week before, when volumes fell 29.3%.

Anheuser-Busch officials did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for comment.
