Kicking off Christmas Eve in the mid-’50s – CBS Baltimore

Hi everybody!
All in all, we don’t have a problem with the weather during the Christmas holidays and weekends. BUT NOTE as the first of two fast-moving “cutter systems” in the “7 Days Forecast” pass through our North, tonight we could see some VERY showers AM in Northeast Harford County and Cecil County.
#mdwx How the rest of today, and soon tomorrow will pass. NOTE-a “haircutter” passing north could cause showers in corridor NE 95. Temperature forecast between Bel Air and Delaware line is over 20 minutes. Take care at AM FOR SOME TYPES of POTENTIAL SLICK. pic.twitter.com/QQvzPApchF

The forecast lows around “Subway” range from 32° – to 35°. But by I-95, we’re forecasting over 20s. The roads are still cold from the past few days and any light moisture can turn into a mottled glaze. This is something to keep in mind, but we can’t guarantee it’s going to happen anytime soon.
Any problems, if any, will become “real-time” problems tomorrow morning. And meteorologist Meg McNamara will keep a close eye on the situation for you in the morning news.

Behind that pull, we’ll see a southerly current and milder temperatures. People between 50 are forecasted tomorrow.
Another “clipper” is coming after tonight’s event, and we could see some sprinkles overnight on Christmas morning. But with Friday night’s forecast lows in the over 30s to the bottom 40s, smoothness issues aren’t a concern. The light air that continues to flow across the Mid-Atlantic at Christmas will leap our heights to about 60° in our arms. And keep it dry and light on Sunday Funday.
Stay safe, and be good friends.
