WALES wants revenge and arrest France’s Grand Slam march, a year after their heartbreak in Paris ended their own hunt for the Six Nations’ greatest prize.
However, Welsh Rugby Union have given themselves a headache for Friday night’s game as there are thousands of unsold tickets priced at around £100, sparking fury among fans at the price.
The Dragons started the tournament at the bottom of a 29-7 streak in Ireland before hitting back to oust Scotland.
And though they had a weak side, they fought bravely before they were Beaten 23-19 by England at Twickenham.
France had no such challenges in their season as they started with home wins over Ireland and Italy.
Before the game Wales Head coach Wayne Pivac said: “France are the most in-form team in the world at the moment.
“Any team that can score 40 points against New Zealand and recently beat Ireland in this competition will be difficult to beat.
“They have a number of world-class players and are a great team that will test us physically and with set pieces.”
