Kerry Katona has pulled out of a £14,000 cruise after seeing Titanic

Kerry Katona has admitted she once missed out on a cruise after watching titanic

The ex-Atomic Kitten had apparently spent £14,000 on the holiday but decided not to go after seeing the film based on the real-life disaster.

While hosting her BBC Sounds podcast wheel of misfortune, Katona told the story while discussing holiday scares with guest Danielle Lloyd and callers.

The singer admitted she was already scared of the sea but had lost her nerve after the movie the night before.

“I once paid £14,000 to go on a cruise,” she began.

“The day before I shit myself because I don’t like the sea, I didn’t go and I lost all my money,” she explained.

“I think I was just watching titanic,‘ she admitted.

More than 1,500 people died when the Titanic struck an iceberg and sank in 1912.

Posting a clip to Instagram, the singer teased the episode, “It’s holiday horror about all the crazy things that happen on vacation and I’ve had some crazy ones.”

Back in August, Katona revealed that a lion once urinated on her while she was on a trip to the zoo.

While hosting her podcast, Katona shared the story of the incident that took place during a trip to Chester Zoo with her mum when she was three years old.

“[At the zoo]. I had to pee and instead of going to the bathroom, my mom said, ‘Oh, just take off your panties down here by the lion’s cage,'” she said.

“And because I peed on his territory, he came up and pressed his ass against the cage and pumped me full. True story.”

“That’s why I was called Atomic Kitten!” Katona laughed.
