Kelly Stafford shared a sweet shared birthday message with her “new friends” Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews on Wednesday.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford’s wife wrote on her Instagram Story: “Double birthday?!?! How lucky are we that God blessed us with these two on the same day?!?!”

The NFL reporters share the same birthday on May 4th; Thompson celebrated her 40th on Wednesday, while Andrews turned 44.

“Newer friends. But quickly the two became very close,” Stafford continued. “Happy Birthday!!! I love you so much and hope you all have the best day!!”

She shared a photo with Thompson and Andrews in their tribute, showing the group her beaming smile at last weekend’s Stagecoach music festival.

“I hope you never stop being the fun-loving women you are. I can’t wait to celebrate you all!!!” She wrote about a separate Instagram Story post showing the broadcasters dancing at the country music event.

On Wednesday, Thompson shared Andrews birthday tributes in a variety of posts on her Instagram story. Confirming her milestone birthday, she posted a separate video to her feed that showed various memories over the years.

“40 years of amazing memories, people and places,” Thompson wrote in her caption. “I can’t wait for the next 40. (hopefully) & if I’m taken before then please play this at my funeral. In all seriousness mom, thank you so much for this video as a reminder that although I’m not a birthday person, there’s a lot to celebrate.”

Thompson made headlines last week when she addressed her recent divorce on an episode of her podcast, Calm Down, which she co-hosts with Andrews.

She credited her close friends, including Andrews, with helping her through what she said was not easy.

Thompson filed for divorce on April 19 to end her two-year marriage to sports agent Kyle Thousand, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to court filings obtained by The Blast. The exes wed on December 30, 2020 in Scottsdale, Ariz. in an “intimate” ceremony.

Thompson, who also works as a correspondent for Extra, said “there are a few legal things” she needs to work through before she can continue talking about the divorce on her podcast.
