Katie Price announces that the comeback single starring the X Factor star is about to be released

KATIE Price has announced when her comeback single starring X Factor star Scarlette Lee will be released.

The pair first shared they were working on new music together in October last year.

Katie, 44, took to Instagram to share a first listen of her then “Christmas single” but nothing has been released since.

Scarlette, who came second in the fifteenth series of the ITV show in 2018, recently lifted the lid on their collaboration during a Q&A on Instagram.

One fan asked, “So when are you going to release this song with Katie Price?”

Scarlette replied: “We literally chatted about this today!

“Getting it done really soon @katieprice.”

Katie then reposted it on her story for her 2.6 million followers to see.

The pair teased fans about their collaboration over the past year, sharing a clip of them from the recording studio.

In one video, fans could hear Katie chuckle: “Talking to you about sunshine and rainbows, talking to you about late-night therapy.”

Katie is an avid singer and has released a number of songs over the years.

The former glamor model represented Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 but has had no luck with her pop career since.

Katie and her ex-husband Peter Andre, 49, released a cover of A Whole New World as part of their duet album in 2006.

It peaked at number 20 in the UK Albums Chart.

In 2010 her single Free to Love Again peaked at number 60, followed by another unsuccessful song – I Got U – in 2017.

Her latest track is Heartbroken, which was released three years ago.
