Katherine Ryan says a celebrity TV personality is ‘a sexual predator’

Katherine Ryan has claimed that a very prominent British television personality is a “perpetrator of sexual assault”.

The 39-year-old Canadian comedian said she previously confronted the unnamed man in front of others but said his allegedly unacceptable behavior remains an “open secret” in the industry.

Speaking to Louis Theroux in a recent episode of his series ‘Interviews…’ on Tuesday, the ‘The Duchess’ star elaborated further on this high-profile figure without revealing his name.

“It is very dangerous for us to have this conversation,” she said to Theroux.

“I’m glad to have it, but it’s a contentious minefield because a lot of people have tried to pin this person for their alleged crimes and this person has very good lawyers, so I’m going to put my mortgage on the line by saying.” who that person is, or have those conversations?”

“We’ve seen what happens to people who talk about supposed predators,” she added.

The comic added that while not a victim themselves, the person in question is known to behave in a certain way.

“It’s not really telling my story,” she explained. “Nobody has committed sexual assault against me, but this person, I believe very strongly – many people believe very strongly – is an open secret, is a perpetrator of sexual assault.”

Ryan previously revealed her confrontation with the man in question, which took place during her show Backstage With Katherine Ryan earlier this year.

“I called him a predator to his face and in front of everyone that day,” Ryan said. “What should I do? It’s such a messy thing because I don’t have any evidence. What, someone else shouldn’t feed my kids?”

The comments were eventually cut from the show.

“I was still getting paid and doing my job, but I did it my way, which I thought was fair,” Ryan added.
