When she’s out and about and on royal duties, Kate Middleton always looks the part of the Duchess with poise and decency.
That said, the mother-of-three is also known for her sense of humor and is always ready to tease her husband in public when given the opportunity.
In August of last year, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge toured Cardiff when they visited Shire Hall Care Home – after they play bingo with people via video link during lockdown.
During their visit, the couple spoke to Joan Drew-Smith, 87.
At one point, the pensioner turned to Prince William and asked: “Is this your assistant?”
Finding the whole thing hilarious, the Duchess thought she’d join in on the joke and confirmed that she was William’s PA.

She smiled and said to her husband: “Well, I’m your assistant. I’ve been a long time!”
Furthermore, Joan had no problem telling the pair that their bingo skills were a bit lackluster and even told the press that the game was “not as good as it could have been”.
Luckily, the future King didn’t have a hard time and greeted the pensioner with: “Hi Joan, remember we played bingo with you? You said we weren’t so good!”
In response, she told him, “That’s right. You did a terrible job.”
Needless to say, her unexpected barbaric response caused the couple to have stitches.
While chatting with 95-year-old Margaret Stocks, Kate revealed that the pair had never played bingo before – which explains their overwhelming performance.
She laughed, “That’s why we’re so bad!”
In other Royal news, Kate Middleton shared VERY understandable mother failure after her sweet gesture to Prince George ended in disaster.
And Meghan Markle let go of Prince Harry’s personal nickname… And the royal family was mocked for it.
More Meghan Markle was branded ‘that MINX’ by Camilla, who claimed she was ‘grateful’, expert statement.
