That big brother 21 star claimed he found the room too hot and turned off the air conditioning. According to Kat, later that night she became overheated and woke him up to turn it back on. However, it apparently upset him, and she claimed he responded by calling her a “b – h” and a “c – t.”
His answer “shocked” her, so she tried to turn it against herself. But she had to step onto his bed to reach it. So Kat claimed she shook him awake with her foot, which irritated him again. This time around, the reality star said he jumped out of bed and called her the “R word.”

Since Kat identifies as neurodivergent due to learning disabilities, she stated that she was trying to correct him. However, Bryce reportedly responded, “Oh, so I was right, you’re r——d,” which resulted in her slapping his foot.
He then apparently accused her of assaulting him, telling producers he “didn’t feel safe” with her. As she claimed, the producers believed that Too hot to touch Eventually, Star had to stay Kat in a hotel. Before leaving, she said she overheard Bryce “mocking” her mental health and wondered how she passed the mental evaluation to get on the show.
After spending the night at the hotel, Kat reported that she returned to the house and spoke to a producer, who wanted to continue filming as if the incident hadn’t happened. However, supervisors later told her they were planning to “do an investigation,” resulting in her spending more time in a hotel room.
After three days, Kat found out there were no cameras in the room and the producers verified the altercation by listening to audio. Upon hearing him call her the “R-word” and what sounded like a slap in the face, the producers opted to fire her for physical violence and him for hate speech.

At the time of the video’s release, Kat claimed Bryce didn’t apologize to her for his words. However, following her Twitter statement regarding her removal, she uploaded a screenshot of a direct message from Bryce expressing remorse.
The reality star insisted he would “never intentionally make fun of her learning difficulties.” He didn’t apologize for the other names he called her, noting, “Well, let’s just say I’m trying to stop using all the bad words.”
Although Bryce added that he usually “twitches” and “corrects” others when they use the “r-word” around him, the Too hot to touch Single offered no explanation as to why he aimed it at Kat.
