Kardashian fans believe Kim “used” Pete Davidson to boost ratings for Hulu show after relationship with Kanye failed

KARDASHIAN Fans Think Kim “Used” Pete Davidson to Boost Ratings for Her Hulu Show.
A wild internet thread before the premiere and after the star’s failed relationship with Kanye West sparked quite a discussion.

Kim Kardashian, 41, was the subject of a harsh Reddit thread in which some trolls were outspoken about their motives with Pete, 28.
The original poster began: “I almost wonder if Kim is intentionally dating Pete, knowing all the issues he is having and having with his past relationships.
“She knows she’s in a relationship with him, that he’s going to bring in a lot of drama and dysfunction, so ratings for her show? I can’t say anything about the Kardashians?”
“If so, that’s so obnoxiously manipulative,” they warned.
Some responded by blasting the concept, while others entertained the thought ahead of The Kardashians’ April 14, 2022 premiere on Hulu.
“I think Kim wants to trump Kourtney [Kardashian]’ one wrote of the seemingly happy older sister, who revealed in a recent trailer that she’s ‘trying to have a baby’ with fiancé Travis Barker.

They continued, “She’s seen the positive attention Kourt has been getting and wants it too. Where is the Kimberley with its high standards? I just don’t buy it.”
One agreed, “She’s literally trying to recreate the kourtney/travis, megan/mgk style relationship,” then mentioned how Pete recently “branded” her name as a tattoo.
Another semi-defended: “High standards? Please, she married crazy Kanye. Maybe that’s better for her LOL.”
More shocking theories followed.
Another replied: “Kanye [may] have mental health issues BUT he really elevated her status during their marriage.”
“My thing is, does she intentionally pick messy guys to make her feel neat?” hurled another.
One user went back and wrote: “I don’t think it’s that deep or calculated. She wanted to date an average guy, and Pete is pretty average when it comes to celebrities in that he’s still doing all the ‘normal’ everyday things that Kim used to miss when she was with Kanye.”
To which someone jokingly replied, “Hey Kris [Jenner]’ suggesting that Kim’s ‘momager’ wrote the comment.
KIM & PETER
Kim and Pete made their relationship official on March 11, 2022 on Instagram.
The photos show the pair snuggled up on the floor of a hotel with the caption, “Whose car are we taking?!”
The couple was first spotted holding hands on October 30, 2021.
This came after the two performed an Aladdin skit in the second episode of season 47 on SNL.
They’ve since had many public dates, including roller coaster rides at Knott’s Scary Farm and a pizza night in LA.
Pete has dated a range of celebrities, from Ariana Grande – to whom he was engaged before ending things – to Kate Beckinsale and Margaret Qualley.
‘RIGHT IN FRONT OF TRAILER’
One person who might agree with the Redditors is Kim’s 44-year-old ex-husband.
Amid his Instagram war on the pair, he recently shared screenshots of two messages and in one, a lengthy caption accusing Pete of “escalating” their feud in sync with Kim’s upcoming reality show.
“You guys are sooooo mad that SKETE showed who he really is right before the Hulu trailer was released,” he wrote, in part referring to the comedian’s allegedly leaked bedroom text exchange with Ye.
“I’m not a villain, Kim is not a bad person. Kids want their parents to stay together, but Hulu needed a new narrative,” he concluded.
PETE bursts open
While he doesn’t appear in the first season of The Kardashians Hulu Show, a new clip showed Kim secretly texting him.
The Kardashians star giggled and flashed a big smile as she texted in the quick clip posted Monday.
From the off, someone asks, “Who are you texting, Kim? Does his name rhyme with ‘Beat’?”
In another scene, Kris admits, “It’s a relationship that no one saw coming, I think.”
In another part of the preview, Kim broke down in tears and claimed Kanye threatened that her career was over after her divorce.
Since the duo started dating, the rapper has done everything from calling the standup comic a “d**khead,” to threatening to “hit his a**,” to even accusing him of being too to want to “destroy” his family.
Kanye even “kidnapped and beheaded” Pete in the animated music video for his song Eazy.
He deactivated his Instagram account for 24 hours on March 16.

Kim was previously declared a single woman following a court ruling.
The famous ex-boyfriends share children North, eight; saint, six; Chicago, four; and psalm, two.
