But now Kanye, 44, has been removed from the Grammys lineup, a source told The Blast.
According to a source close to the Yeezy founder, his team received a call on Friday telling them he would no longer be appearing at the awards show.
The source went on to say that the Grammys “sadly” made the decision “due to what they believe is online behavior.”
KANYE VS. TREVOR
Kanye’s ouster was also prompted by his falling out with Trevor Noah, which began when the comedian was discussing his divorce from Kim Kardashian, 41.
He said during his segment on The Daily Show on Tuesday: “I’ll be honest with you – what I see from the situation is a woman who wants to live her life without being bothered by an ex-boyfriend, an ex-husband or an ex to become – anything.
“You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous, because she’s embracing black culture … but what she’s going through is terrifying to watch and highlights what so many women are going through when they decide to leave.” .”
Shortly after, Kanye clapped back via Instagram in a since-deleted post, rewriting the lyrics to “Kumbaya” as “k— baya my lord,” an insult referring to a black person who rejects their ethnicity.
The father-of-four’s post resulted in a temporary ban from Instagram, as Meta confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that his behavior violated their policies on hate speech, bullying and harassment and that he wasn’t allowed to post, comment or send direct messages for 24-hours -Period.
Trevor tried to settle their argument by commenting on the musician’s post, reading: “You are an indelible part of my life Ye.
“That’s why it breaks my heart to see you like this. I don’t care if you support Trump, and I don’t care if you roast Pete. However, I care when I see you on a dangerous path, close to danger and pain.
“Remember, the biggest trick racists ever played on black people was teaching us to take away our blackness when we disagree. Making us split into shards so we would never unite into one mighty rod.”
GRAMMY SNUB
Sources also revealed that Kanye and his team weren’t surprised by the Grammy’s decision.
Earlier in the week, the awards show announced appearances from Billie Eilish, BTS, Lil’ Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo and Jack Harlow.
Despite the snub, the rapper was nominated for Album of the Year for his hugely popular Donda.
Kanye has yet to address his canceled gig.
ON revenge
The record producer has been embroiled in drama surrounding his split from Kim, which was further ignited by her blossoming relationship with Pete Davidson, 28.
Despite months of outbursts on social media and attacks on the SNL comedian, a source recently told The Sun: “Kanye wants to seek full custody of the children.

“People close to him were quite shocked and have tried to persuade him not to do it, but he insists he wants the kids full-time.
“He thinks Kim travels a lot to work and spend time with Pete and that he would be a better parent.”
