Justin Edison is missing before the shooting trial between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez

Megan Thee Stallion’s former bodyguard – and a key witness in the case against Tory Lanez – has disappeared ahead of her scheduled court appearance, a spokesman said.

Justin Edison, a former member of the rapper’s security team, is scheduled to testify against Lanez next week in the ongoing assault trial for allegedly shooting Megan in the foot in 2020.

However, according to a lawyer for Megan Thee Stallion, Edison’s statement on Saturday appeared to be in jeopardy.

“We recently learned that Justin Edison went missing just before he was due to appear in court,” attorney Alex Spiro told TMZ on Saturday.

Spiro said the LAPD was “currently investigating his disappearance,” but a department spokesman told The Post that a missing person case against Edison had not been opened.

When asked if it was wrong to say the police were looking for Edison, the announcer said, “Yes, because it makes him look like a criminal.”

A source told The Shade Room that Edison’s attorney hasn’t heard from him since Thursday.

Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, has pleaded not guilty to shooting Megan after they left a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in 2020. He is charged with assault with a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm and negligent triggering of a firearm.

Megan emotionally testified Tuesday that Lanz shot her because he was upset they were leaving the party and after an argument about a love triangle broke out on the drive home.

Lanez’s bodyguard and Megan’s friend Kelsey Harris were in the car when Megan asked to be let out, she claims. Lanez then allegedly fired multiple shots at her and yelled, “Dance, bitch!”

Harris texted Megan’s manager that night: “Help. Tory shot meg. 911” and told prosecutors in September that Lanz had fired the gun. On Wednesday, she testified that she did not see Lanz shooting at Megan.

Lanez’s team suggested the shooting was between Megan and Harris.
