Adele recalls that her marriage to her first husband was over
Adele began dating Simon, the CEO of the nonprofit organization Drop4Drop, in 2011. The following year, the two had their only child together, a son named Angelo. Although the singer kept her personal life private, she gloated about their “amazing relationship” in a rare interview with 60 Minutes Australia in 2015.
The couple officially tied the knot in 2018. However, fans were shocked when Adele and Simon announced their split in 2019 after just a year of marriage. This also ended their eight-year relationship. The former couple was so committed to co-parenting that Simon simply moved across the street from their LA home. In her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the 16-time Grammy winner recalled the moment she realized her marriage to Simon was over.
The mother-of-one revealed she was with a group of her close friends when she realized something needed to change. The group leafed through the pages of a magazine. Then a question saying“What Would No One Ever Know About You?” surfaced.
In response, the Rolling in the Deep singer candidly told her friends: “I’m really not happy. I’m not living, I’m just plodding along.’”

“And when I admitted to my own friends, who thought I was really happy, that I was actually really unhappy, they were all horrified. I felt like from then on I was like, ‘What am I doing this for?'”
Adele still trusts Simon Konecki unconditionally
Despite the painful end of her marriage, Adele told Oprah in her 2021 interview (titled Adele One Night Only) that she absolutely trusts her ex-husband.
“Even now I trust him with my life,” said the British singer. “I feel like he and Angelo are angels sent to me.”
She also praised her ex for being a great father to her son.
In another interview With The Face the same year, the Billboard chart-topper said, “I thought, ‘Compared to every other man I know, I’d be a fucking idiot if I ignored this man as the father of my child,'” until recently, or Found it later, phew! I would have regretted that forever!
“Simon is so committed and so interested. He gets on [Angelo’s] level in anything. “Whatever Angelo likes, what he wants to see, where he wants to go and play, his new damn playground games that change every week – he’s a big kid in the sense that he’s so curious about him,” she said of hers Ex.

There has been enormous interest in Adele’s personal life since rumors emerged that she is married to her boyfriend Rich Paul.
The duo first sparked romance rumors in 2021. Now it is claimed that the couple secretly tied the knot. A source told the gossip blog Deux Moi (Per Daily Mail) that Adele was recently with her best friend Alan Carr Los Angeles comedy show.
Alan reportedly once asked the crowd if anyone had recently gotten married. Adele then shouted: “I did.”
The singer also reportedly called Rich her “husband” at her concert in Las Vegas in September 2023.
