Josh Richards responds to Nessa Barrett’s dating rumors after Jaden Hossler split

TikToker Josh Richards has responded to rumors he might be getting back together with ex-girlfriend Nessa Barrett after she split from fellow TikToker musician Jaden Hossler.

Nessa Barrett and Jaden Hossler are two popular influencers and artists who have been at the center of controversy in 2021 after the pair broke up with former partners Josh Richards and Mads Lewis to be together.

However, in late April 2022, fans began to suspect the couple was no longer together after seemingly unfollowing each other on Instagram.

A few days later, Nessa and Jaden both posted a message on their Instagram Stories confirming the split, writing, “Last month we split to take time to focus on our own careers and mental health to concentrate. Please don’t send hate or make assumptions. We want to heal privately and hope you can all respect that. We love you all so much.”

Both Nessa and Jaden posted the same statement on their Instagram stories.

Josh Richards responds to rumours

Immediately after the split, fans began speculating about what had been going on behind the scenes, with some even wondering if Nessa would get back together with her former ex, Josh Richards.

On an episode of the BFFs podcast, Josh discussed his take on the situation. “Oh my god I was so heartbroken at the time but now I think I’m very over it,” he said of last year’s initial breakup drama.

Josh explained that he’s been hanging out with basketball player Mia Mastrov recently, but that they “haven’t really talked about Nessa & Jaden’s situation” and that he doesn’t know if he wants to date her.

Amidst the drama, fans noted that Josh had liked a ‘Jessa’ edit, and when Josh’s co-hosts started discussing whether that means Josh and Nessa could get back together, he replied, “I don’t know how much that was on purpose.”

When asked why he did it, he replied: “I think maybe just to like it a little bit. It’s kinda funny.”
