Jokic gets 8th triple-double, Nuggets rout Lakers, 133-96

DENVER (AP) – Nikola Jokic had 17 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds for his eighth double of the season, and the Denver Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 133-96.

Rookie Bones Hyland had a career-high of 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Jeff Green scored a season-high 26 in a second-straight destructive win over Denver. All five of the Nuggets’ starting games have scored double the number.

The Lakers have lost 3 games in a row after winning 4 games in a row. LeBron James had 24 points and 9 rebounds, but only made 9 of 23 goals. Russell Westbrook, who had just shot 15 to 59 in his previous four games, had 19 points when he shot 7 of 15.
