Johnny Depp will rekindle romance with Kate Moss after testifying in court, fans claim

Kate Moss testified in Wednesday’s Blockbuster defamation trial of her ex-boyfriend Johnny Depp, debunking a long-standing rumor that the actor pushed her down a flight of stairs in the 1990s.

The supermodel, who dated Depp between 1994 and 1997, became a star witness for her former boyfriend, and fans took to social media to speculate the stars will almost certainly rekindle their torrid love affair of yore.

“Why did Kate Moss decide to testify? Does she still love Johnny? I hope and think so,” a hopeless #JusticeForJohnnyDepp romantic posted on Twitter after Moss showed her apparent loyalty to Depp on the stand.

“I hope after this is over Johnny realizes that Kate was the one who got married as a life partner. I hope he calls her and invites her to dinner.” explained another die-hard dork.

Depp, 58, is currently believed to be single, although Moss, 48, has been in a six-year relationship with German aristocrat and photographer Graf Nikolai von Bismarck, 35.

Despite the supermodel’s relationship status, social media has raved about her appearance at the trial, with many saying Depp looked delighted as she emerged to refute previous statements made by Heard, 36, via video link.

“Johnny’s smile when Kate came on screen? You guys better get back together because that’s cute.” wrote one perceptive Trial viewer.

Meanwhile, another asked: “Can we talk about how Johnny’s face brightened up after seeing her face on screen?”

Depp is currently suing ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed the actress wrote, in which she said she was a victim of sexual violence.

Earlier this month, while on the stand at the Virginia libel trial, Heard referenced rumors that Depp pushed Moss down a flight of stairs at some point during their romance.

Heard’s words prompted Depp’s attorneys to call on Moss as a refuting witness.

Moss, speaking from Gloucester, England, told jurors how she left her hotel room at the GoldenEye Resort in Jamaica during a rainstorm when she fell down a flight of stairs and sustained an injury.

“Johnny had left the room before me and it had been raining. And when I left the room, I slipped down the stairs and hurt my back,” she said.

“I was screaming because I didn’t know what was happening to me and I was in pain,” Moss testified. “And [Depp] came running back to help me, carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”

After their split, Moss said she missed the trust she had in Depp.
Moss said she spent “years” crying after Depp left her in 1997.

Moss was 20 when she met Depp, who was 31 at the time. The famous duo dated from 1994 to 1997 before the Edward Scissorhands broke up with the fashion icon and switched to French actress Vanessa Paradis, the mother-to-be of his two children, Lily-Rose and Jack.

Despite the breakup, which Moss described as a “nightmare” in a 2012 Vanity Fair profile followed by “years and years of crying,” she has been staunchly supportive of her ex.

“There is no one who has ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a while. I believed what he said. Like if I said, ‘What should I do?’ He would tell me. And that’s what I missed when I left. I’ve really lost the measure of someone I can trust,” she said frankly.

In Depp's past trial, his ex-girlfriends Winona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis filed supporting statements in his defense.
Depp is seeking $50 million in damages in Blockbuster defamation lawsuit.

Heard didn’t specifically name Depp in the Washington Post article, but it was written after Heard filed a 2016 restraining order against her ex-husband over abuse allegations.

Depp is seeking $50 million in damages. Heard has filed a $100 million counterclaim.
