Jobs that pay £60,000 a year you do NOT need a degree

The top paying jobs don’t always require a college degree.
Anyone with an eye on a new job in 2022 can earn themselves a big payday by pursuing a job like scrum master or private chauffeur.
Analysis of more than a million Work adzuna’s website has identified the top 25 paying positions that do not require a degree.
Some of them even pay a whopping £60k or more, and for many positions “skills for self-study are more important than formal education”, according to Andrew Hunter, co-founder Adzuna.
“The year 2022 is a year of financial opportunity for job seekers without a career,” he said.
“Tightening labor market conditions mean that employers are casting their hire nets wider than ever before to fish. Candidates with suitable skills – and they are offering tantalizing pay packages as bait.
“For example, Scrum masters are making up to £66k and while knowledge of the scrum system and top project management skills are necessary for success, not a degree. .”
The Scrum master acts as a project manager for IT and technology development. There are courses you can take to train yourself to be a scum master, but There is no strict path to the job.
Construction manager and food safety inspector are also among those that pay more than £60,000.
The average salary in the UK is around £25k. The Living wage in UK, the minimum for those over 23, is rising to £9.50 this April.
That works out to an annual salary of just over £18,000 for full-time workers.

Construction workers are in special demand, says Adzuna, with nearly 500 ads for construction managers, average salary is 65k.
Of course the same job can pay more or less depending on the hiring company, and the salaries here are average.
And while a degree is not required, there may be other requirements.
You don’t need a degree to become a commercial pilot, but you’ll typically need five GCSEs including English, Science and Math.
With an average University education cost of up to £57,000, it can pay to pursue one of the high paying careers while avoiding student loan debt and study costs.
Mr. Hunter said: “As more and more well-paying careers open up to students who have just left school, the steep costs associated with further study are weighing on us and we expect to see more job seekers choose the uneducated path.”
“Unemployed workers are an important segment of the labor market that an increasing number of employers are looking to employ.”
There are plenty of other positions that also offer high salaries – without the need for higher education.
