The Jingle Ball stop in Florida, scheduled for Sunday (December 19) at the Miami/Fort Lauderdale market, has been cancelled. The event at the FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, has been postponed due to COVID-19 concern, in the context of increased omicron variation.
In a statement posted on Twitter on Sunday, iHeartRadio wrote, “Due to the increased transmission of the new variant of Covid-19 and to further reduce any potential risks, as a precautionary measure and for the safety of our employees, function and our guests, we have made the decision to cancel the iHeartRadio Y100 Jingle Ball tonight. Thank you for your understanding. Ticket holders will receive a refund within 48 hours and if they have any issues they should contact their point of purchase.”
Messages are followed with a tweet on Ticketmaster refunds: “Those whose tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will receive a refund within 3 to 30 days. If you have any problems, you should contact your point of purchase. “
The original lineup for the outstanding Miami concert Cat Doja, Megan Thee Stallion, AJR, Black Eyed Peas, Saweetie and more, although Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion and others recently had to drop out of dating Jingle Ball. Cat Doja test positive for COVID-19 and Megan Thee Stallion’s team members have been contacted to COVID-19.
The Florida Jingle Ball performance is set to be the final stop on the 2021 tour.
