Jimmy Fallon Voices #RIPJIMMYFALLON on The Tonight Show

He lives, he lives!

Jimmy Fallon returned to ‘Tonight Show’ on Wednesday after rumors tweeted he had died the night before.

#RIPJIMMYFALLON was the second highest-ranking hashtag on Twitter Tuesday night, but Fallon, 48, made the day look silly 24 hours later as he danced and sang at Studio 6B.

After being introduced on stage by announcer Steve Higgins, Fallon joined The Roots and a choir clad in white regalia to sing along to his revival.

The comedian ended the chant by claiming he wouldn’t be leaving until his job on Earth is done.

During his opening monologue, Fallon poked fun at other trending topics by adding his “death.”

“When they heard I died, Ticketmaster kicked me out of line for Taylor Swift tickets,” Fallon told the audience.

He also took the opportunity to address Donald Trump’s run in the White House, saying, “When I heard Trump running again, I said over my dead body.”

Later in the show, Fallon took a moment to talk about how he found out he’d “died” while out for dinner with his wife, Nancy Juvonen. He believed the trend started based on a joke with Twitter users sharing pictures of various late-night hosts.

“They didn’t think it would take off like that,” Fallon said. “But then it just took off. People started believing it. It’s just weird.”

Despite going through a death scam before, Fallon still doesn’t know how to deal with it and joked he hadn’t heard from concerned family and friends.

“I haven’t heard from (Justin) Timberlake, nothing, I’m expecting flowers tomorrow,” Fallon told Higgins.

Fallon later asked Twitter CEO Elon Musk to help mitigate the damage the hashtag was doing. Instead of this, Musk attacked his company by asking if Fallon was real or a “bot”.

“First of all, I’m not going to die,” Fallon said during his show. “I’m very healthy, have a lot to live for, and I have two little girls. I’ll be alive for a long time, so you don’t have to worry about me.”
