Before 90 days fiancé star Jason Hitch died of Covid-19 complications. He’s 45 years old.
The reality TV star was unvaccinated and died in a Florida hospital, where his family was by his side during his final moments, Shannon said.
She also revealed to TMZ that Hitch had no pre-existing medical conditions.
“We are saddened to learn of Jason Hitch’s passing and send our sincere condolences to his family and friends at this time,” TLC said in a statement.
Hitch appeared in season 2 of the show TLC in 2014, where he met and later married 23-year-old Cássia Tavares.
“I don’t think I’m going to sleep for the next 90 days because I’ll be walking around thinking, ‘What do I have to do to keep her happy?’” Hitch said in an episode of Fiancé 90 days.
The duo met via Facebook when Tavares was in an online relationship with Hitch’s friend.
When that relationship ended, they started dating. After their marriage, Tavares moved to the United States and moved in with Hitch, a US Army veteran, and his father.
Together, the couple started a mail-order snack business called “Delightful Gifts.”
Hitch and Tavares separated in 2017 and filed for divorce in 2018.
