James Bond movies will make their streaming service debut later this month.
Since the rise of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and other similar platforms, the British spy franchise has been one that could never be viewed on a subscription.
That changes on April 15 when every single Bond film, including the most recent appearance, is released no time to diewill be added to Prime Video.
However, Prime Video notes that the films will only be available for a limited time.
It appears that the addition of the 007 franchise is due to Amazon and MGM’s partnership.
Upon completion of the agreement, more than 4,000 movies and 17,000 TV episodes distributed by MGM will be available for streaming.
“MGM has a nearly century-old legacy of producing exceptional entertainment, and we share their commitment to delivering a diverse array of original films and television shows to a global audience,” said Mike Hopkins, senior vice president of Prime Video and Amazon Studios.
“We welcome MGM employees, creators and talent to Prime Video and Amazon Studios and look forward to working together to create even more opportunities to bring quality storytelling to our customers.”
Any Bond film will be available to stream on Prime Video from April 15th.
