Jake Paul says Paddy Pimblett is being ‘pimped’ after revealing UFC Fight Night payday

Following the bombastic revelation that Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett had a “12-and-12 deal” for his record-breaking performance in London, Jake Paul has taken to Twitter to say the England fighter was “pimped” for his work.

UFC fight bags are things that the general public does not have easy access to. However, that hasn’t stopped Paddy Pimblett from speaking out about how much he made for his fight at the O2 arena in London.

In a recent interview with Sports bar stoolthe 27-year-old rising star revealed the exact amount he earned from his latest fight against Kazula Vargas.

“12 and 12,” he confirmed. “So show 12,000 and win 12,000.”

While $24,000 may seem like a healthy sum for a night’s work, the amount of time that goes into preparing for a fight and the incredible amount of stress placed on the individual during that time certainly makes the amount count appearing a far cry from the costly dream that other members of the UFC have sold the lifestyle to be — you look at McGregor.

That amount of money also pales in comparison to the amount the UFC collected for the Fight Night event. An incredible $4.5 million was earned that night. The highest grossing goals in a day for a sporting event at the O2 Arena.

This is due in so small measure to the work of Paddy Pimblett. An absolute crowd favorite and entertainer in a class of its own.

with Jake Paul’s recent pushes for Dana White to increase fighter pay in the UFCNot only did he provide health care to those who put their bodies on the line, he didn’t take the time to berate officials and managers about the sums of money the fighters make.

Taking to Twitter, Paul made his thoughts undeniably clear: “Paddy Pimblett is getting pimped. Who manages these guys?”

Of note, in addition to the purse paid, Paddy Pimblett also received a $50,000 bonus from the fight. The Liverpool fighter displayed a solid level of humility and had very little to say about his thoughts on the wallet.

“It goes up after every fight, but you have a contract, so whenever they want to offer me a new one, they offer me a new one, it’s just one of those things.” Jake Paul says Paddy Pimblett is being ‘pimped’ after revealing UFC Fight Night payday
