Pro boxer turned YouTuber Jake Paul continues to pump up UFC star Conor McGregor as the mixed martial artist prepares for his return to the octagon.
Jake Paul has been actively trying to secure a fight against Conor McGregor for some time, constantly calling out the former UFC champion at every turn.
While The Problem Child said he would face McGregor in either boxing or MMA, there was little to suggest the two would face off anytime soon.
Now, as McGregor trains for his return after suffering a nasty injury in his last match against rival Dustin Poirier, Paul has mocked the Irishman, commenting that he may have found a weakness in the fighter’s defence.
Jake Paul criticizes McGregor’s UFC training
After McGregor posted a video workout, the footage was re-uploaded to Instagram by popular influencer account The Bread Batch. Jake Paul commented on the training video and criticized The Notorious One’s hand gestures.
“Every time he slides to the right, he drops his right hand,” criticized Jake. “Beginner.”
This isn’t the first time Jake has used training footage to capture footage of McGregor. Back in March, Paul uploaded a video showing his own MMA training while accusing Conor of “drinking Jack Daniels in Dubai” and “uploading sloppy boxing videos”.

So far, McGregor hasn’t responded to Paul’s comment…but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some behind-the-scenes discussions to put the two in a fight.
In February, the Irishman hinted he was ready to step into the ring against Jake Paul, teasing the possibility with a “never say never”.
We’ll just have to see what happens in the future, but with Jake promising a return to boxing this summer and McGregor trying to reclaim a belt in the UFC, a fight between the two could still be a long way off.
