Jace, son of “Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans, has been found safe
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ eldest son, Jace, was found safe He was reported to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Department in North Carolina on Tuesday as a youth on the runway.
“As a young mother, kids can act and rebel, as I’m sure most of us did as kids,” Evans, 31, said in a statement to The Post.
“Jace got into trouble at school, we decided to take his phone away from him and that’s when he decided to run away. Jace’s a good boy and we don’t have anything to do that most families don’t have to deal with when it comes to raising children. Evans’ manager August Keen thanked the Sheriff’s Department for their help in returning Jace safely to his family.
Earlier Tuesday, the sheriff’s department posted on its website Facebook siteand asks the community to keep an eye out for Jace, who was last seen leaving Roger Bacon Academy in Leland, North Carolina at around 2:45 p.m
He is said to have been wearing either a gray sweatshirt that said “Classical Charter Schools of America” or the navy shirt he wore underneath.
Evans celebrated Jace’s 14th birthday in one earlier this month Instagram Post Office.
“All 14 years old! #HappyBirthday to Jace! You’re turning into such a polite young man. I’m happy as long as you’re happy!” She captioned a photo of the pair.
Evans rose to fame in 2009 wearing Jace on the MTV series 16 and Pregnant. She then starred in Teen Mom 2 alongside Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Chelsea DeBoer.
Her time on TV was full of controversy and chronicled her turbulent relationships with various friends as well as her mother, Barbara Evans.
Barbara was given custody of Jace for 13 years Jenelle regained custody from him in March.
“She says, ‘I’m ready to have my freedom. “I’m ready for a cruise.” And she and her friend already have a cruise planned,” Jenelle claimed in an interview about what Barbra felt about the custody agreement Instagram Post Office.
