Iyanna gives an update on marriage to Jarrette 10 months later
Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones were a fan favorite couple love is blind Season 2. They were one of the few couples to make it down the aisle and were married in a beautiful ceremony featured in the tv show. But now that the dust has settled and the cameras are gone, where do the two stand? Here’s an update on Iyanna and Jarrette’s relationship of the love is blind star itself.
Iyanna from ‘Love Is Blind’ has shared an update on her marriage to Jarrette
In April, Iyanna celebrated her 10-month marriage to Jarrette and shared an emotional post about him Instagram.
“You’re home,” she wrote in the post, which included a slideshow of photos of them together. “To think we were crazy enough to put our faith in the marriage process. Two flawed people just trying to create something. It has only been 10 months but the amount of transition and growth we have experienced individually and as a couple is amazing. Marriage is a crucible and a mirror. I believe in this in ways I don’t think I understood before. like what am i grown up now? Crazy.”
Readers congratulated them in the comments section, including Fellow love is blind Star Natalie Lee. “My heart is bursting! I love you!!! ❤️❤️❤️,” Lee wrote. Lee almost married realtor Shayne Jansen before canceling the ceremony that followed a heated argument with him.

Iyanna and Jarrette didn’t have the smoothest start on ‘Love Is Blind’
Though Iyanna and Jarrette seem to be thriving now, their relationship hasn’t been entirely smooth either. While he appeared to be her first choice from the start, Jarrette was notoriously at odds between her and Mallory Zapata. Ultimately, he decided to propose to Mallory, but when he mentioned it to her, Mallory turned him down after making it happen a stronger connection with Salvador Perez.
Jarrette was heartbroken but also optimistic about a possible relationship with Iyanna. Iyanna understandably had concerns about being the second choice, but when Jarrette explained his point of view and his feelings for her, she decided to accept his proposal. They were married in one episode by Jarrette’s father, a pastor.

Jarrette now realizes that Iyanna is his match
In hindsight, Jarrette has realized that Iyanna is the “better fit” for him.
“She suits me better because she’s everything I need,” he said Us weekly. “On paper, Mal and I would have worked out. … I think with Iyanna — she was very different and I think those differences are things that I needed in my life to help me grow and be a better person and a better husband.”
More recently, he helped Iyanna ring in a birthday. Keep celebrating the moment Instagram, he wrote: “Happy birthday to this little nugget I get to call wife! In the short time that I have been married I have come to love you all. Thank you for showing me all of yourself and for always being who you presented yourself as.”
“I’ve loved this journey we’ve had so far and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. #Cheers to another year of happiness, growth, unconditional love and memories! I love you sweetheart,” he concluded.
