It’s Bills v. Patriots at Prime’s matchup on Thursday night

Thanksgiving has come and gone. The winners of last Thursday’s games have already been munching their turkey legs in midfield, and no major holidays fall on Thursday nights until next November.

This means we can get our focus back on what really matters: The NFL and Thursday Night Football on Prime Video.

This week’s matchup is awesome. This first December 2022, the 8-3 Bills (fresh from a Thanksgiving win in Detroit) will take on the 6-5 Patriots (who lost Thanksgiving in Minnesota) on their home turf.

There is a lot at stake here: namely the class rating. The AFC East’s top-performing teams, the Bills, and their 8-3 counterparts, the Miami Dolphins, are separated by just two games from their bottom-performing team (the Patriots).

Tonight: Everyone plays to win.

Below we’ve detailed how to watch, when to tune in and what to expect from tonight’s Thursday night football game.

Teams can switch week to week, but this deal stays the same – Thursday Night Football will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Every week this season, the biggest midweek event the NFL has to offer is free with a Prime subscription (or a 30-day free trial). Grab one now and get TNF in addition to Amazon’s huge list of movies and original series, including The Peripheral, Lord of the Rings: The Power Rings and The Boys.

When does the game start?

As always, you can expect kickoff tonight at 8:15 p.m. EST at Gillette Stadium, but if you’re interested (literally) in the prelude, prelude coverage on Prime Video begins at 7:00 p.m. EST. Thursday temperatures are forecast to be in the low forties at Gillette, so we recommend your couch as the ideal spot to watch the evening.

What can I expect from today’s game?

The matchup may be taking place on the Patriot’s home turf, but we expect the Bills Mafia to be out in full force. Tonight’s game is the first of the last four of the regular season and both the Bills and Patriots will be battling for first place in the AFC East.

It’s a longer shot for the Patriots, sure, but there’s no reason their steady climb to the top of the division couldn’t begin now. Unless the Bills have anything to say about it.

Tonight, make sure to tune in through your Prime Video subscription or pick up the 30-day free trial. Regardless of the outcome, this matchup is not to be missed. It’s Bills v. Patriots at Prime’s matchup on Thursday night
