Team News
David Alaba is a major injury doubt for Real Madrid. The Austrian was substituted at half-time in the first leg and missed training on Sunday. Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale also missed the session and again look unlikely to be involved but Casemiro played an hour of the weekend’s La Liga win and could start.
Pep Guardiola hinted after Manchester City’s win over Leeds that Kyle Walker could miss the rest of the season, while Nathan Ake also hobbled as Oleksandr Zinchenko replaced him in that 4-0 win. Guardiola seemed a little more optimistic that John Stones could be available, but central defense remains in doubt, which could leave the visitors with no squad options in the Spanish capital.
