‘Insists’: Player absolutely determined to join Aston Villa now – journalist

According to a report, Galatasaray playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo is determined to join Unai Emery’s Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano reported on it Twitter that Aston Villa want to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray.

The Italian journalist claimed Villa made an offer to Galatasaray last week to bring Zaniolo to Villa Park on loan with the option of taking him on permanently next summer.

Romano reports this morning that Villa is hoping to finalize a deal this week, adding that the Italy international, who can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, “insists” on a move to the Premier League club.

Nicolo Zaniolo would be a good signing for Aston Villa

In our opinion, Galatasaray star Nicolo Zaniolo would be a brilliant signing for Aston Villa in the summer transfer window.

Although Zaniolo personally didn’t have the best times last season, he’s only 24 and has a lot of potential.

After all, the 24-year-old has played 19 times for Italy.

Zaniolo is a very creative player who would make Villa better and more powerful.

The playmaker was described as “extraordinary” by AS Roma head coach José Mourinho in the club’s press conference youtube channel in August 2022.

Galatasaray signed Zaniolo from AS Roma in February 2023.

The playmaker made two starts and eight substitute appearances for Galatasaray in Turkey’s Süper Lig last season.

Zaniolo scored five goals in those games.

Galatasaray clinched Turkey’s Super Lig title in 2022–23.

Villa is aiming to finish inside the top six of the Premier League table this season and Zaniolo would increase his chances of achieving just that.
