Kevin Costner may have mastered his acting art, having featured in some of the best award-winning films, including “Field of Dreams” and “Yellowstone.” The actor lives his life away from the screen in the peace and quiet of his 160-acre Aspen property.

While many A-listers prefer their homes in the middle of the city with stunning views of skyscrapers that never get old, Kevin Costner chose a different route. He leads a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

His is a property will make you lose. Located in the heart of Aspen, one of America’s wealthiest neighborhoods, Costner’s verdant and peaceful estate is nicknamed “Aspen’s Independent Ranch.” It sounds like a scene from a fantasy movie, and with good reason.

The ranch, set on 160 acres of land, provides an idyllic and peaceful environment for the “The Bodyguard” actor and his family – wife Christine Baumgartner and their three children, Cayden, Hayes and Grace.

The property’s entrance has a secure yet sophisticated guarded front gate. A private driveway surrounded by golden birch forest leads into the center of the property.

Green pines make a statement along the banks of the Roaring Fork River that descends into the valley. The pristine property has three separate homes – the main house, a lake house and a river house, which comfortably accommodates 34 people.

The multi-storey main house has six bedrooms, with six full and two half bathrooms. It also includes the foyer, dining room, living area, chef-style kitchen, and revered outdoor space.

The most desirable feature, however, is a trap door in the master bedroom, at the foot of the bed. The floorboards open up to reveal a hidden staircase that leads to a hot tub overlooking the river and mountains.

Overhead bath, the stone work has a button to turn the waterfall on and off. Exposed brick walls, dark oak ceilings and wooden columns give the property a cabin-like feel.

The gray couch living area is arranged around a white stone fireplace. According to Amy Mottier, a Coldwell banker and a family friend, the house has a welcoming and warm feel to it.

While the other two houses on the farm are much smaller, they are no less splendid. The lake house can accommodate up to twelve people, while the river house can accommodate six people.

The river house is the Costner family’s favorite spot on the property. They use it whenever they want to hang out. From the house, one has a beautiful view of the snow covered mountains.

The vast land outside incredible. In addition to the property’s stunning views, it also features two lakes that offer year-round water sports activities for families and visitors.

These lakes are suitable for boating, windsurfing, kayaking and trophy fishing. Residents here can also do ice fishing in the winter. The property also features ski hills with music and lights to provide great winter experiences.

Known for his pivotal role in “Field of Dreams,” Costner’s love of baseball led to him appearing in at least two more baseball movies. He has also incorporated a love of sports into his Colorado property.

Unlike the baseball field in “Field of Dreams”, his field is not surrounded by cornfields. Instead, it is equipped with stadium lighting and music. It is ideal for families and anyone renting a property as they can play comfortably even at night.

The hotel is available for rent and suitable for special events, corporate retreats and weddings. As an example of how perfect the peaceful grounds are for a wedding, Costner married his wife there.

SEARCH FOR LOVE AND Adorable WEDDING

Costner met Christine Baumgartner in the 80s, but at the time he was still married to his first wife, Cindy Costner. They eventually became acquaintances, but when they met again in 1999, the spark was gone.

At the time, Costner was long divorced from Cindy and was actively looking for love. The two decided to try and date for 4 years. But in 2003 they split, after disagreeing over whether they wanted to have children.

Baumgartner wanted children, but Costner was content to father his four children — three with Cindy and one with ex-girlfriend Bridget Rooney. Costner opened the door for Closer Weekly in 2018, speech:

“Fear prevented me from marrying Christine. [She] I want to have a child, but I fear I cannot be an effective father.”

The breakup didn’t take long, but once again, the two found each other again. Costner said he woke up one day to the realization that he was about to lose a good woman because of his fear.

The bride arrived at the ceremony site in a vintage green pickup. They say their vows by a stream, followed by celebration with their guests.

Three years after their big day, they welcomed their first child, son Cayden. Cayden was followed by a second son, Hayes, in May 2007 and a daughter, Grace, in June 2010.

“I’ve played two roles in my life, one where I get paid to act in movies, and the other as a father, for which I’ll be rewarded for life.”

The acclaimed actor loves his films, where he gets to play the hero. However, he still believes that the best moments will come when he wants to go home and be a father to his children.
