I’M A Celeb’s Giovanna and Tom Fletcher beamed as they spent the weekend in Paris with their kids to celebrate Disney’s 30th birthday.
The podcaster and McFly star took three boys from their three sons; Buzz (seven), Buddy (six) and Max (three) will be the first to experience this new era of Disneyland Paris – with new decorations, costumes and shows, all starting today at the world-class resort.
The family looked like they were having the time of their lives as they got involved in the games and rides.
Sharing a snap with his kids before the start of the Star Tours ride, Tom joked, “When the whole family is big enough to ride Star Tours! AT LAST! 🤘🤘🤘🤘 At @disneylandparis for their 30th celebration.”
The couple explored the entertainment resort and encountered some of Disney’s most beloved characters.
Giovanna beamed as she posed alongside Daisy Duck and Goofy the dog, who wore his signature turtleneck and vest with pants.
Pop star Tom was also game for a laugh as he laughed and cracked jokes with his wife as they posed for photos.
The mother of three said: “The 30th anniversary weekend at Disneyland Paris was amazing.
“There was so much to do and so many new things to see. There is so much magic and it feels like such a fitting celebration.”
Former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and Steph’s Lunchbox star Vogue Williams also attended the event with their two children Theodore, three, and Gigi, one.
The couple, who had one of their first dates at Disneyland Paris exactly five years ago, said they are happy to be returning with their children.
Reality star Matthew said: “It’s just so nice to come here now as a family. We watch a lot of Disney movies together, so I think it’s just a fun realization for our kids that the characters are real.”
Model Vogue added: “I think because we work a lot when we’re at home, it’s amazing to come to Disneyland Paris and just spend two or three days together as a family and do everything all the time.
“And it’s really important and it’s so nice to see how happy it makes the kids and it’s kind of all about them now.”
They weren’t the only celebrity couple celebrating the special occasion, JLS star Aston Merrygold and his fiancee Sarah Louise Richards brought their two children, Grayson, four, and Macaulay, one, for a weekend of magical fun.
The Everybody In Love singer said: “For me, Disneyland Paris – and the 30th anniversary in particular – is all about the attraction of family.
“Every single person, whether it’s 1 or 91, there’s something for everyone. As soon as you walk through the front door, it’s literally like the magic begins.”
Celebrities and their families were treated to new attractions, including the resort’s first-ever aerial drone show, where 200 synchronized drones form a scintillating figure 30 feet above Sleeping Beauty Castle.
For 30 years, Disneyland Paris has been developing more immersive experiences to bring stories and characters from the Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars franchises to life.
Since the historic opening of Disneyland Paris on April 12, 1992, the resort has welcomed more than 375 million visitors and is Europe’s largest resort
top travel destination.
