Inside David Bonola’s chilling Facebook messages to Orsolya Gaal where he confessed his love during a rocky 2-year affair

THE handyman charged with the brutal stabbing death of an NYC mother gushed over her in social media posts, telling her he “loves” her and sending her songs with now-threatening lyrics.
David Bonola44, was charged Thursday with murder, criminal manipulation and criminal possession of weapons in connection with the death of Orsolya Gaal, 51, who was found dead in Queens on Saturday.
Police sources told The US Sun that Bonola admitted the act During an interrogation Wednesday night, he reportedly told investigators he killed her in the heat of an argument.
Bonola also told police that he had had an on-off affair with Gaal for the past two years.
Posts on Gaal’s Facebook page show Bonola publicly gushing about the married mother, commenting on a photo of her in Guatemala in April 2019 and writing, “Love these streets and architecture! [sic] This landscape and the giant volcano. , And you [heart emoji].”
In a comment posted months later in July 2019 on another photo, Bonola wrote, “She is the most beautiful woman.”

Similar fawning messages can be seen in posts from May 2020.
Underneath a childhood photo of Gaal, Bonola wrote “Hola” with a heart emoji.
In another post, he wrote: “[music note emoji] Tu mirada enamorada”, which roughly translates to “your amorous gaze”.
The comment appears to be a reference to Luis Miguel’s 1999 song Tu Mirada.
In the song, Miguel sings, “Your amorous gaze / Entangled in my dreams / It’s passion wrapped in fire / Like wind through the flames.”
Later in the song, Miguel repeats, “It’s passion cloaked in fire / For without you, I’m nothing.”
‘ON AGAIN, OFF AGAIN’
during one press conference on Thursday Tomorrow, investigators confirmed Gaal and Bonola have had an “intimate affair” on and off for the past two years.
It’s unclear when and how the affair began, but law enforcement sources previously told The US Sun that Bonola once worked for Gaal as a handyman and lived near her.
That report was confirmed Thursday by the NYPD, which added Bonola was known to Gaal’s family.
According to investigators, Bonola came to see Gaal in the early hours of Saturday morning to discuss their relationship. They had briefly reunited in April, but their tryst was “considered over,” assistant director Julie Morrill said.
During that conversation, police say, Bonola and Gaal began to argue about “domestic matters” when a knife was pulled and a violent fight ensued.
Gaal was then “ruthlessly” and “brutally” stabbed 58 times, sustaining wounds to his neck, body, arm and hands.
Police recovered a knife at the scene that appeared to have come from Gaal’s home, NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig told reporters.
Bonola then allegedly got a hockey bag from Gaal’s son and stuffed her body inside. roll it down the street for half a mile before dropping it off near Forest Park.
From there, police say, Bonola fled through the park, discarding a blood-stained jacket they believe he was wearing at the time of the murder.
Bloody boots, a T-shirt and bandages were also found near Gaal’s house.
The suspect was treated for wounds on both hands at a local hospital the next morning.
MURDERER ‘CONFESSION’
Bonola was taken into custody on Wednesday evening. He voluntarily went to the 112th Precinct to be interrogated, where he made “incriminating statements,” Essig said.
Essig did not elaborate on what those statements were, but said Bonola confessed to sending a text message from Gaal’s phone to her husband threatening to kill the rest of the family.
An NYPD source previously told The US Sun that Bonola confessed to killing Gaal after an argument in the basement of the home. He also told police they were having an affair, the source said.
“This case is ongoing,” Essig said. “We are still awaiting forensic evidence and are seeking additional videos as we speak. But detectives, through interviews, videos and the help of the public, and in particular Queens Attorney Melinda Katz and her associates, who have been with us every step of the way, were able to quickly take this killer off the streets.
“I just want to reassure the public, and especially the residents of Forest Hills, that there are no prominent suspects at this time.”
Bonola was marched out of the 112th Precinct Thursday morning with his hand behind his back and chains around his ankles.
He remained mute and stone-faced as he was ushered into the back seat of an unmarked police car.
Earlier Thursday, police released an image of Bonola walking down the street with a face mask and bandages on his hands.
They also released images of the knife they believed brought Gaal’s life to a tragic and brutal end.
FAMILY SILENCE
Gaal’s family has not yet publicly commented on Bonola’s arrest.
Her husband, Howard Klein, was out of town with their eldest son at the time of her death touring potential colleges.

Her youngest son, 13, was believed to be lying upstairs in bed when his mother was killed.
He was briefly detained by police after Gaal’s body was found, but was released a short time later.
