Adele and Rich Paul are Hollywood’s hottest couple – and currently the richest with a multibillion-dollar empire.
Adele’s main income comes from three UK-based companies.
These are Melted Stone Ltd, Melted Stone Publishing Ltd – including royalties and record sales – and Remedy Touring LLP, set for her final tour Adele Live in 2016/17. She is the sole director of all three and has 100% control.
Since the 33-year-old burst onto the scene in 2008 with her debut album 19, the three’s combined profits have been $198,245,328 and have paid out $97,537,644 in dividends to Adele.
In addition to the dividends, Adele was paid a ‘director leave’ of $20,681,737, while she also invested $57,541,512 of her own money in the companies, no. money is still owed.
There is currently $76,615,339 ‘cash in the bank’ with the star owning a current net worth of $83,538,669.
The total revenue of all three companies is more difficult to determine, as not all have accounts declaring the amount, but it should be at least twice the combined profit, which is more than $400 million.
For example, Remedy Touring LLP had sales of $215,586,674, double its profit of $108,579,851. For a number of years, the other two companies also released revenue figures, and this was always at least double profits, sometimes quadruple.
This week it was announced vocalist someone Like You will begin a 24-day stay, weekend only, at Caesars Palace Colosseum in the new year.
It seems Adele has been preparing for this move for some time, as she founded a US company called Onwards Touring Inc on July 26 of this year, which is registered in Nevada. She is the director, president, treasurer and sole secretary.
In the past, Britney Spears and Celine Dion have made around $500,000 per show, but ticket prices for Adele’s gigs are set to at least double, bringing her $1 million a performances and $24 million overall.
Her US tour revenue comes from Adele Touring (US) Inc., which was incorporated in Nevada in April 2008 and is not legally required to disclose any financial information.
However, it is reported that the last two North American tours in 2011 and 2016 grossed $13.1 million and $67.5 million, respectively, for a total of $80.6 million.
Add all these numbers together and the expected earnings for the next 12 months, Adele’s companies will of course have total sales in excess of $800 million and profits of $300 million, including sales from her current album 30.
Meanwhile, boyfriend Rich Paul owns Klutch Sports Group, one of the most successful entertainment companies in America, with Paul having a roster of NBA stars, headed by LeBron James.
According to figures on popular basketball website hoopshype.com, the 39-year-old has negotiated contracts worth about $1.385 billion between 2012 and 2021, with an expected amount of 336.3. million more dollars next year. Under NBA rules, an agent can only receive up to four percent of their client’s earnings.
This means his commissions are just under $69 million for the ten years through 2022 – and that’s only for professional contracts, not including confirmations or media deals, at least at most double that number.
