Infant death: Wife and friend accused of starving and bludgeoning to death their 8-year-old daughter in 2020
Ruben Moreno, 29, and Soledad Mendoza, 29, were arrested last Friday for their role in the death of the child, which police said took place back on December 21, 2020 at Block 900 of Gessner Road.
Officials said they were called to Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital to investigate the death.
It was later revealed that the little girl showed signs of starvation and chronic broken ribs.
The couple are charged with murder and harming a child.
