Though Trayce Jackson-Davis was brilliant in the First Four, Indiana would not have progressed unless the Cowboys had an uncharacteristic 19 turnovers and freshman Jordan Geronimo nearly quadrupled his score average. Indiana enjoys a stone fight, but Saint Mary’s does it better than almost any other team. In its most recent win over Gonzaga, it held the country’s best offense with 58 points while leading scorers Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren were capped at six points each. When the Gaels force anyone but Jackson-Davis to hit them, Indiana has no answer.
