‘I’m too old’ – WWE star Brock Lesnar rules out a UFC comeback, saying ‘that door is closed’ despite praising Dana White

BROCK LESNAR is ‘too old’ for a UFC comeback as he admitted ‘that door is closed’
The WWE Superstar first joined the UFC in 2008 and later reigned as the Heavyweight Champion.
Lesnar has appeared in eight UFC pay-per-viewsHeadlined six and ranked as one of their highest paid fighters.
The American was on good terms with UFC President Dana White, as well as former owners Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta.
But he ruled out ever returning to the octagon, no matter how well White treated him.
Lesnar, 44, tells The New York Post: “This door is closed. You know what, Dana White, the Fertitta brothers were extraordinary to me.”
Lesnar debuted in the UFC only as a 1-0 MMA fighter, beating Min-Soo Kim in 2007.
But he was beaten by Frank Mir in 2008, which could have ended his UFC run before it even started.

After beating Heath Herring (43) and then Randy Couture (58) for the title, Lesnar would defeat Mir in a rematch before earning a win over Shane Carwin (47).
But back-to-back losses to Cain Velasquez (39) and Alistair Overeem (41) led to Lesnar announcing his retirement from MMA.
A brief return in 2016 would follow at UFC 200 where Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt, 47, but the point win was tipped to one No-contest after a failed drug test.
The pro wrestling legend then flirted with another comeback in 2018 to face off against then-champ Daniel Cormier, 42. just to re-sign with WWE.
and Lesnar claimed he would stay there for the rest of his career.
He said: “I’m too old. This is a young man’s sport, and that door is locked. I’m Brock Lesnar, the WWE Superstar.”
