I’m called ‘neighbor from hell’ when I live in a caravan in my driveway so I can rent out my £170k house

A WOMAN dubbed the “neighbor from hell” hit back at angry residents who complained about her caravan – and insisted SHE was the one being bullied.

Lillie Goddard is accused of using her static homes as add-ons to her trip so she can rent out her £170,000 home for extra money.

Lillie Goddard insists she is being bullied by her neighbors

The mother of two has faced years of backlash from angry neighbors who accused her of turning their street into a “tourist camp”.

But the defamatory neighbor insists she did nothing wrong – and reveals she has been tormented for years in a “hate campaign” on her way.

“I was completely bullied,” she told Sun Online.

“Over the past two years, I have reported 12 counts – mainly punctured a tire, removed car parts, broke into windows and stole work equipment from my car.

“I even have a hate campaign on Facebook.”

“People don’t know me, they don’t know the situation,” she added.

Electrician Lillie said she received numerous threats on social media – and despite reporting the brutal abuse to police, she insists “never anything happened”.

A neighbor recently suggested it was only “a matter of time” before residents resolved the issue themselves, adding that they were “surprised” that no one had set fire to Lillie’s garage yet.

When asked about the threat offer, Lillie said: “My problem in the past was that no matter how often I reported crimes to the police, they didn’t do anything, they just gave me the crime numbers and it’s done.

“But if they burn it down at least two people will die – hopefully then the police will take it seriously.”

Lillie, who moved to the UK from Hungary 12 years ago, explains that her mother lives in the larger house of her two caravans outside, while she lives in her own home.

She said she rents out three of her five rooms in the Swindon property, noting that Swindon Area Council told her it was accepted as a multi-occupancy home.

She also owns a smaller caravan, which she often uses for family vacations.

CARAVAN ROW

Lillie said: ‘My mum is living in the caravan outside and since she’s 77 and she needs a little bit of care, I’m here with her in case she needs any help. .

“I live in the house but most of the day I’m here with her.”

She added that she was able to detect “a minimum of six caravans” of her neighbors “from her window and believes she is being unfairly targeted.”

“If they want me to remove this caravan from my garden then others (should also remove theirs),” she said.

Lillie has also tried to hide her 44-square-foot still home from view – initially knocking down the two-metre fence surrounding her garden outside her home to get it.

But she said when she went to rebuild the fence to hide the convoy, the council wouldn’t let her.

‘I WILL GO TO COURT’

“If I had a big fence, this caravan wouldn’t be seen and wouldn’t be a problem,” she added.

“So the council is creating problems.

“It is the council that is creating this problem with the neighbours.”

The homeowner, who is now separated from her husband and children as a result of an ongoing street fight, said she needs tenants to pay her mortgage.

And she said that she could not leave the caravan for the sake of her mother.

“I have no choice because my mother is here and I can’t leave her alone,” she said.

“I’ve never done anything bad to my neighbors. I’ve never been rude, I’ve never yelled at them, I’ve never accused them of anything.

“I’ll definitely fight for this caravan to stay – I’ll be ready to go to court.”

A spokesman for Swindon Borough Council previously said: “We are looking into these allegations to determine what the most appropriate course of action might be.

“We are prepared to take legal action if we need to.”
