THE COLORS in your home have a huge impact on your mood and overall well-being.
Kate Kerdi, an interior designer and home design influencer, stated in a Video how different paint colors can affect the way you think.
The color red will definitely make you hungry.
Kerdi said rooms painted red can help stimulate appetite.
She recommended painting red the spaces where you would eat or cook, like kitchens and dining rooms.
For a softer appearance, she said a room painted pink can promote calm and reduce feelings of aggression.
The soft hue would make a great color for a child’s playroom or office area.
Spending time in a bold orange room can make you feel just as bright.
The expert shared that orange can make people feel energetic and fun.
She recommended eliminating rooms where you socialize with oranges, such as B. Your dining room.
Welcome guests into your home with the happiest colour.
For entrances, Kerdi suggested painting them yellow.
She said yellow is a bright, welcoming and upbeat color that is very welcoming to guests.
“Purple is a spiritual and creative color,” Kerdi said.
This color represents luxury and can be used in study rooms, libraries or living rooms.
Due to its peaceful vibe, blue is a great color for bedrooms and offices.
The designer claimed that blue is the most calming color and emits calming vibes before bedtime.
Similar to blue, she said that “green is the most relaxing color”.
This color is also often used for bedrooms as it helps people relax.
One suggestion she shared was to change the layout of your room to make it feel like a new space.
