A CONFIDENTIAL modern chick has slammed online trolls who assume she’s only obsessed with men and makeup.
Chrissy Chlapecka, 21, from Chicago, spoke shine and described the term “Bimbo” as a person who “wants to celebrate and appreciate their own hyper-femininity, expressing it in their own special way”.
She went on to say that the Gen Z bimbo also “don’t let misogynistic viewpoints of femininity prevent you from being f*cking awesome and incredible.”
However, due to the term’s sexist history, it doesn’t sit well with everyone — something Chrissy is well aware of.
“In the past, the word ‘Bimbo’ was used to put women down – to see them as one-dimensional,” she admitted.
She noted that the term used to be used to refer to women in terms of their bodies and nothing else.
But Chrissy, who has a proud 4.2 million followers Tick tockhas responded to trolls who have criticized her for reclaiming the term “Bimbo”.
In a short clip posted to social media, she explains, “A modern chick doesn’t need to know ‘what a mortgage is’ or ‘how to file taxes’.
