But luckily, one money-saving mom shared her top ways to save money by shorting out each month video clip.

Amanda has provided a list of tips, which we detail below.

First of all, cables can be unnecessarily expensive.

According to a Versus Reviews survey, the average cable bill is $72.60 per month, while Decision Data found it to be just over $217.

As a result, you might want to ditch the cable and switch to a streaming service — which can be a much cheaper alternative.

For example, Netflix’s basic plan starts at $9.99.

That means you can save up to $207 a month if you have high cable bills.

Limit eating

If you find yourself blowing your money on food every month, maybe it’s time to start cooking.

Accordingly forbesData from artificial intelligence meal planning platform Wellio shows that the average American spends $20.37 at restaurants, versus just $4.31 per serving when cooking at home.

So if you’re dining out every day of the week, you might be spending more than $142 a week based on these numbers.

That equates to just over $570 a month for each meal.

If you cooked at home, you’d only spend $120.68 per meal — a savings of about $450 a month.

Train at home

A gym membership won’t eat up your monthly bill like the others above — but you could cut monthly costs by working out at home.

research of Strong home gym shows that the average gym membership costs $50.03 per month.

But remember if you decide to train from home – you will need to purchase equipment if you don’t already have it.

Ride a bike or walk

If you can avoid driving, you should do so.

This could include a walk or bike ride to a nearby park or shop.

The less you drive, the less often you have to fill up your gas tank per month.

Shorten landline

If you have a cell phone, you probably don’t need a landline at home.

In 2020, Americans spent an average of $127.37 per month on their cell phone bills CNBC.

The average landline bill is said to be $42 per month.

Combining all of these tips can save you up to $750 a month.
