YOU WANT to save every piece of wallpaper after learning how to use it on multiple walls.
ONE WOMAN shared how to further enhance your drawer with a special bit of leftover wallpaper – and everyone is raving about it.
The home designer, who just passed Lauren on social media, shared a clip shows how she redecorated the drawers in her kitchen.
In the video, she took a marker and used it to add glue to one side of the drawer.
Next, she placed her leftover wallpaper on the side of the drawer with adhesive.
While using a sharp blade, she cuts along the outline of the drawer to remove excess paper.
She then adds some glue to the drawer and recommends doing the same if needed.
Once dry, she simply reassembled the drawers.
After completing her drawers within minutes, users were amazed at the change.
One person wrote: “Your drawers are gorgeous! The finish really makes a room unique and special. Thanks for the tutorial on how to do it!”
One second said: “I love this idea!”
And a third went on to praise her innovative idea: “Oh great, now I need a whole new kitchen. I love this.”
While you can trust putting your stuff in a drawer at home, a travel expert shared why you should never use a drawer in a hotel room.
She wrote: “Closet drawers are not on the maid’s cleaning list.
“So if a traveler throws dirty underwear in a drawer all week, you’ll contaminate your clothes using any drawer without cleaning or disinfecting them first.
“I carry a wallet-sized Lysol on car trips or a bleach wipe that breaks from a zip bag after a plane ride.”
And drawers aren’t the only unhygienic thing about hotel rooms.
A former hotel manager said duvets were not washed regularly.
“They probably wash them once a year, which is really horrible,” she said.
“So the first thing you want to do when you walk into the room – don’t lie down on the bed, take the blanket off!”
