IF you are someone who often feels chills on a flight then this advice is for you.
A flight attendant has revealed which seats are likely to be the coldest on a plane so you can avoid.
She also says that window seats are likely to be colder than aisle seats because they are located closer to the outside of the plane.
“I’ve noticed that most of the time it’s cold, it’s between rows 7 and 15 of the plane, so if you’re cold, avoid those rows,” she said.
“And the window seats are obviously colder than the aisle just because it’s closer to the outside of the plane.”
Dan Suski, founder of Seatlink.com We recommend avoiding exit rows and doors if you are a person who is susceptible to cold.
He said that the draft from the door often makes the air next to the seats cooler.
The reason the temperature in the cabin is so low is to prevent passengers from going out.
A study of International ASTM found that passengers were more likely to faint during flight because of a health condition known as hypoxia.
Fainting occurs when body tissues do not receive enough oxygen and the condition is made worse by high cabin pressure and warm temperatures.
