I’m a Celebrity: Babatunde Aleshe rose to fame as the fifth contestant to be eliminated from the show

Babatunde Aleshe is the fifth contestant eliminated from the 2022 season i am a celebrity.

Hosts Ant and Dec revealed the comedian received the fewest “votes to save” from the public and was then told to leave the jungle immediately.

The comic lasted 19 days in the jungle. Aleshe’s departure follows that of Culture Club singer Boy George, who departed on Tuesday (November 22).

Fellow comedian Seann Walsh narrowly avoided elimination as it turned out he was in the last two.

“I’m blessed. I needed my freedom,” Aleshe said to Ant and Dec as he left.

“Spending two and a little weeks there is hardcore.”

One of the biggest talking points from Aleshe’s time on the show was when he called Matt Hancock about his Covid kissing scandal and said, “You snagged booty, bruv!”

The former health minister replied, “Oh give up,” to which Aleshe laughed and apologized.

Aleshe ended the conversation by telling Hancock, “Look man I’m not judging you, bruv. I can screw you.”

Six celebrities remain at camp ahead of the finals on Sunday, November 27th. Aleshe chose Hollyoaks Star Owen Warner as the contestant he wants to win.
