I’m a Celebrity: Attendees were ‘disappointed’ when Matt Hancock was named camp director

Matt Hancock was named as camp manager I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!.
On Sunday (November 13) participants were informed that the public had voted Mike Tindall and Hancock as potential leaders of the camp.
Tindall chose Sue Cleaver as his deputy, while Hancock chose Charlene White.
“Let’s do that. You couldn’t be made leader of the Conservatives, but you are leader of the camp,” White told Hancock, and the MP replied, “Not yet!”
They then participated in a challenge, which Hancock won. Back at camp, the other participants said they hoped Tindall would win the challenge and be the leader instead.
When they returned, Jill Scott let out a disappointed sigh while Chris Moyles said, “Matt Hancock is our leader. Words no one in Britain ever thought they would hear.”
Scarlette Douglas said: “I’m a bit disappointed because I would have loved it if it had been Mike and Sue. But listen, they’re both great people, hopefully they’ll do really well and we’ll see how well or not well they can rule the camp.”
At camp, as Hancock and White shared out chores they were relieved of themselves, Boy George could be heard singing, “Say what you like, try to ignore me, but I’ll never listen to a Tory.”
He added, “If he’s nice, I’ll do things, but if he’s not…”
Boy George and Sue Cleaver then joked that they were planning “a revolution” against Hancock.
“The revolution is very, very strong and it wasn’t started by me, it was started by Sue and Mike [Tindall]said the Culture Club musician.
At the beginning of the episode, Hancock was stung by a scorpion in camp. After being given the green light by camp medics, he entered the “House of Horrors” Bushtucker Trial and earned nine out of eleven stars.
At the end of the episode, he was voted in for the next trial, “Deserted Down Under,” on Monday night’s (November 14) episode.
