I’m a celebrity 2021: Frankie Bridge reveals son’s sweet request

I’m a famous person…. Get me out of here! star Frankie’s Bridge revealed her husband Wayne Bridge were instructed by their children not to vote for her to stay in the contest, because they missed her so much.

The former pop star, 32, finished in third place on the hit survival series, with Danny Miller crowned King of the castle, and soap star Simon Gregson with the runner-up position.

The mother of two reunited with sons Parker, eight, and Carter, six, on Monday night, and she later learned from former football player Wayne how much they missed her.

She told Metro.co.uk: ‘They didn’t really say anything when I walked in, they just jumped on me.

‘The boys were already in bed with me and Parker would keep touching me to make sure I was there.

‘Then Wayne told me they asked him not to vote so I could go home earlier.’

In her first Instagram post since returning home, the TV star was seen posing with both boys on either side of her.

She captioned the image heartily: ‘To be reunited and it feels great! ❤️ back to all my boys… back on the sofa… back home! 😍 Thank you to everyone who voted for me on @imacelebrity, I still can’t believe it… what a crazy ride! ‘

After explaining the adorable moment from her boys, the Loose Women host opened up about life in the castle.

She’s endured her fair share of gruesome Bushtucker trials, including Scary-Oke ringing a bell for anyone, and the brutal eating test being the worst it’s suffered.

The gruesome quest involves Frankie and producer Naughty Boy taking down some disgusting drinks While showcasing some classic hits, though, it’s safe to say that this particular test drive has kept the singer from singing traditional karaoke for life.

Reflecting on the challenge, the Saturday icon said: ‘It made a lot of my boxes sick and picky eaters.

‘I know I’ll find it difficult to try eating, but drinking is going to be harder for me.

‘They’re not smooth and they always have small bits on the bottom, so it’s almost like an eating test in one. Never repeat.’


What About Us singer also revealed about Her mental breakdown on the show to Olympic divers Matty Lee, who described the conversation as an ‘eye-opener’.

Although Frankie hasn’t had time to chat with friends and other family members yet, she explains how aware she is of the ‘big moment’ and how emotional she is. which others may be involved.

Looking to the future, Frankie has confessed she would love to see some of her Loose Women co-stars take on castle or jungle roles if the ITV series returns to Australia.

‘I’d love to see Kaye Adams there because she has a wicked sense of humour and we always give each other hard times, so I pretty much want to see her squirm in there.

‘[Janet-Street Porter] she will be very funny. I like it. ‘
